One of the most popular attractions
for visitors. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Coachella valley
as you ride in state-of-the-art tram cars. Bring a jacket...it's
often 40 degrees cooler at the top of the tram!

- Hours of operation: Cars depart at least every half hour
from 10 a.m., Monday-Friday; 8 a.m. weekends and holiday
periods. Last car up is 8 p.m. with the last car down at
9:45 p.m.
- Cost: (round-trip) Adults - $20.25 Children (ages 3-12)
- $13.25 Seniors (55+) - $18.25
- Ride & Dine option: available after 2:30 p.m. with
dinner served from 4 p.m. Combination ticket includes round-trip
Tram fare and dinner through the buffet-style Top of the
Tram Restaurant. $25.95 for adults and $16.80 for children.

Gay Veterans Memorial
|
On Sunday, May 27, 2001, the first
memorial exclusively honoring gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender
servicemen who gave their lives in combat in defense of our
nation was dedicated at the Desert Memorial Park in Cathedral
City before a crowd of over three hundred.

- In the Desert Memorial Park it at the corner of Ramon
Road and DaVall Drive in Cathedral City (a short drive from
Palm Springs)
- Cost: Free
- The cemetery office located there provides free maps of
the cemetery identifying graves of celebrities including
Frank Sinatra, Sonny Bono, Cameron Mitchell, the Gabors
and many others.
